Community
Guidelines

Coworking is a great way to successfully get your work done while also interacting with a bunch of interesting people and employees from different companies that all work towards their individual goals.

It gives you the option to leave your desk at any time to network, take advantage of extra services and connect with a unique social environment that you wouldn’t find anywhere else. However, it also comes with great responsibility.

And etiquette rules play an even more significant role amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Network
be respectful

Part of our mission is to help connect others as well as be a conduit for creativity and productivity. Introduce yourself and build lasting relationships.

Working with a diverse group of people can be very rewarding in personal and professional growth. Let’s make sure that discussions on certain thought processes and world views remain respectful and productive.

Take care
of our building

Our workspaces are shared and designed for all to enjoy. Let’s make sure we treat these spaces accordingly. For the sake of the staff and the well-being of other members you work with, leave the workspace as if nobody used it.
If you do not have a FixedDesk or PrivateOffice, please do not leave any personal belongings on the tables – unless you`re just out to grab lunch or coffee.
The FlexDesks (all with the black table mat) are to be used by all Flex members and therefore should not be blocked in advance, just as no one should put towels over beach chairs 😉
After using the conference room, please have it ready for the next member.

If you love one of the tables and would like to make it yours permanently, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us, we are more than happy to talk to you about the Fixed membership!

Waste
management

Make sure to properly dispose of garbage, as well as used paper towels in bathrooms and kitchens.
Please don’t put any (broken) glass into the waste bin as it poses a safety risk for your cleaning personnel. Please think about our staff as they work tirelessly to make you feel welcome in our space and give them a heads-up if anything out of the ordinary happens.
If anything breaks please be careful while picking up the broken pieces & then throw them in the (black) waste bin in our courtyard.

Noise
control

Please be mindful of your volume. Sound carries a lot easier in the open space, but can be carried through other sections of the workspace as well.

In order not to disturb other people’s work, more focused conversations should be taken to the conference room and calls that take more than 15 min to a phone booth. (The phone booth comes with ventilation and an electric socket, so you don’t run out of air nor your phone out of juice.)

Internet
service

Unlimited internet connection is included in all our plans. You can connect via wifi or cable.

The internet connection we provide is not to be used for any illegal websites, illegal downloads, shady providers that help you hide your IP or other things.
If you`re not sure if the thing you attempt to do is legal or not, it much likely IS not. It goes without saying that illegal actions will have consequences.

Don’t
smoke

Please refrain from using any sort of Cigarettes, E-Cigs or Vapor in our buildings.
If you want to smoke outside we can provide you with an ashtray. Again, please be mindful of the people around you and discard cigarette butts properly.

Food
and kitchen

We offer a small kitchen with a designated eating area. Should you prefer to eat at your desk, make sure not to disturb others with smelly food or noise.
Put dirty dishes and silverware in the dishwasher or rinse them immediately with water and the provided dish soap.
Clean the coffee machine after each use.
Please do not use a rag, but rather a wet paper towel to clean the cappuccino creamer. This minimizes risk of contamination.

If you use up something, fill it back up or tell
a staff member.

For example if you notice you used the last refrigerated milk, put some more in the fridge or fill up the coffee machine after using it. If any amenities should run out, just give a heads up to our staff. Be resourceful for the sake of the environment and other people in the shared space.

COVID-19
Rules

In addition to your standard community guidelines, please follow these hygiene rules:

2G Rule

Only come vaccinated and/or recovered. If you had contact with someone infected, also come tested. That way we can minimize the risk of spreading the virus and at the same time don’t have to wear masks all day long. For events stricter rules may apply.

If unwell, stay at home.

Regardless of whether you have COVID or not, the risk of infecting your coworkers (with whatever you may have) should be eliminated. Also, if you start showing some symptoms while at work, go home immediately.
In case of a positive COVID test please contact the staff, so that other members will be notified.

Sanitize Your Workspace

Sterilize the tables where you eat, and wash your hands regularly , especially before and after touching things such as doorknobs and light switches.
Making sure your workspace is disinfected regularly is something you should also consider including in your daily work schedule. A good idea is to sanitize the area first thing in the morning to ensure that you always start the day fresh and clean.
(While our staff disinfects the doorknobs, light switches and tables regularly, it’s never a bad idea to be a little extra cautious)

Guests
and Pets

We‘re happy if you want to show our fabulous space to your clients, friends or family – maybe have them over for lunch or a coffee break. Just keep in mind that all rules above apply to them as well. Your guests are your responsibility!
Well-behaved kids and pets (especially the fluffy ones) are most heartily welcome – if they stay short term and don‘t disturb other members.

Conclusion

As a collective office member, you agree to these guidelines to ensure that our community has the experience we intend. Please note that management reserves the right to amend these guidelines as needed. Please visit often to ensure you are updated on any changes.
